Antrim Championships in Larne

This was the first open gala of the 24/25 season. It saw 14 swimmers head to Larne for the Antrim Championships. For 5 swimmers it was their first ever Open gala and they all produced fantastic swims. We had 39 individual swims which produced 31 PBs ad 6 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals. However, most pleasing from a coaches point of view was seeing the swimmers improving techniques and watching them incorporate the training we have been doing into their competitive swims. Some of our swimmers also got to chat with Olympian Danielle Hill and even swim against her. A fantastic start to the open gala season and looking forward to seeing how much further they all go this year.
