Senior Squad Competitive Pathway
 

• The Provincial Towns League is the next level of competition up from the Aquasprints Junior League.
• Each Club swims 4 or 5 galas against competing Clubs during the Season from September to March.
• A trophy is awarded to the winning Club in each division and to the winning club in each age group in each division.

Age groups for 2018-2019 Season :-

A born 2008 & 2009  (9/10 years)

B born 2006 or 2007 (11/12 years)

C born 2004 or 2005 (13/14 years)

D born 2003 or earlier (15 years and over)

• Individual events are 50m on all strokes and 100m IM, girls and boys.  Relay events are 4x25m for A Group and 4x50m for B.C and D.

• The PTL League is divided into 4 divisions.

We are in Division One! and are currently waiting to find out which Clubs we will be swimming against on the 2018 - 2019 Season

• PTL galas are held on Saturday evenings and last for approximately two hours.  There are 5 Galas a year (3 /2 Home and Away)

• Senior Squad swimmers are divided into 2 Squads for swimmers born in 2006 and older.  The two squads are called  Senior Squad and Club Squad.

• This is to enable stroke development and individual growth of swimmers as well as providing a solid team for competitions.

• PTL Final dates for 2018 - 2019 season are to be confirmed .

The time is based on an average 100m Freestyle time obtained during the previous season as stipulated by the Head Coach this will be based on their training ability.
