Club Officials
You should remember that all officials engaged with the club do so, on an entirely voluntary basis, working together to promote the development of your child's swimming and skills which may at some time save their lives.
As a committee we firmly believe in mutual respect valuing and appreciating everyone's opinion. Subsequently, we would also ask you to show respect and support our club officials at all times helping us to encourage your child and develop their confidence.
The club's elected committee meet on the first Monday of every month to discuss relevant issues including management of sessions, team organisation and financial issues.
The Annual General Meeting is held each year in June. All parents are invited to attend this meeting and express their opinion. Election of officials for the subsequent year also occurs at this meeting and parents have an opportunity to vote.
In addition to the committee members and qualified teaching staff, the club functions with the assistance of many parents who have undertaken the Assistant Teacher's Certificate as well as other parents who have volunteered to assist on the poolside.
All assistance is greatly appreciated and parents are actively encouraged to become involved to whatever level they wish.
Please note:- All club officials including volunteers are subjected to annual checks in order to satisy POCVA (Protection of Children & Vulnerable Adults) standards.
