Membership
Children must be at least six years old in order to join the club.
The club welcomes membership applications from any individual over the age of 6 years old and up to the age of ten in those instances where the child is a non-swimmer/beginner.
After the age of 11, the club can no longer provide membership to those who have not developed to the stage where they are either swimming competitively or have potential to swim competitively. This is to ensure the clubs retains capacity to continue to accept younger non-swimmers in order to develop essential basic life preserving skills.
Mrs Rona Best is the club's membership secretary and is responsible for receiving and co-ordinating all membership applications and renewals.

Cost of membership
The swimming season operates usually from the first Tuesday in September to mid-June.
Annual cost of membership is currently £120:00, payable in two instalments of £60:00. For those individuals joining after the start of the season, cost of membership is calculated on pro-rata basis. Please note, there are no concessionary rates available to those with more than one child registered with the club.
The membership fee entitles each person to one scheduled session per week. In addition to the annual membership fee, team swimmers are also required to pay £1:00 for each additional session in the pool.
Membership renewal
The first instalment of payments pertaining to membership renewal is requested towards the end of May in order to reserve a place for the following year, with the second payment being due as soon as the season starts in September. Once registered, requests for subsequent membership renewal will be made via post.
