We want your child to enjoy swimming with B.A.S.C.

The Club aims to encourage all members to maximise their potential in a safe and secure environment.

To do this we will:-

• Treat children and young people with respect and dignity
• Value each child and young person and recognise the unique contribution that each can make
• Provide an example we wish others to follow
• Respect a young person's right to personal privacy
• Use appropraite language with children and young people
• Be aware that someone else might interpret our actions, no matter how well intentioned
• Recognise that special caution is required in sensitive moments such as dealing with bullying or abuse
• Acknowledge the contribution of volunteers within the club and their right to support members in a safe  and non-threatening environment

POCVA checks are completed on all club officials/volunteers who are likely to come into contact with your child.

Within the club there are three designated child protection officers. Please do not hesitate to contact them if  you have any concerns regardingthe well-being of your child during their attendance at swimming club.
